VSB Uren: bringing a traffic-control company under one login

How we replaced spreadsheets, email folders, and phone calls with a single platform that runs an entire traffic-control operation.

VSB Service is a Dutch traffic-control company that supplies certified traffic controllers and road-safety crews for roadworks, closures, and events across the Netherlands. Like a lot of growing operations, their administration had spread across spreadsheets, email, shared folders, and phone calls. Nothing was connected, and every approval or certificate meant digging through a different system.

We designed and built VSB Uren, a single Laravel platform that brings the whole operation under one login. Clients log in to request staff and follow their planning. Traffic controllers and subcontractors log in to see their shifts, file reports, and manage their own documents. The back office handles approvals, payslips, and exports from the same place.

Everything now lives in one system: rosters for roadworks, events, and infrastructure, all incident reports and complaints, and every personnel document with expiry tracking built in. It is secured end to end with two-factor authentication, passwordless login links, and automatic purging of expired personal data to stay fully GDPR-compliant.

One source of truth, one login, no more scattered admin. That is the kind of practical result we aim for on every project.
