Overview

VSB Service B.V. is a Dutch traffic-control company (verkeersregelaars) that supplies certified traffic controllers, signage and road-safety crews for roadworks, road closures and events across the Netherlands.

Before working with us, VSB was drowning in administration. Planning lived in spreadsheets, worker documents in email and shared folders, client requests in phone calls, and incident reports and complaints wherever they happened to land. Nothing was connected, nothing was in one place, and every approval, payslip and certificate meant digging through a different system.

We solved that by designing and building VSB Uren: a single Laravel platform that brings the entire operation under one login. VSB runs everything from here. Their clients (opdrachtgevers) log in to request staff and follow their planning. Their own traffic controllers and their subcontractors (onderaannemers) log in to see their shifts, file reports and manage their personal documents. The back office handles approvals, payslips and exports from the same place.

Everything now lives in one system: rosters for roadworks, events and infrastructure, all incident reports (meldingen) and complaints (klachten), and every personnel document, with expiry tracking built in. The platform is secured end to end with two-factor authentication, passwordless magic-login links and automatic purging of expired personal data, keeping VSB fully GDPR-compliant. One source of truth, one login, no more scattered admin.
